Make Y1 and Y2 axis ranges respect the range of values of the tables they come from?

Hi,

Is there anyway to make Y1 and Y2 axis ranges respect the range of values of the tables they come from?

Otherwise I have to keep adjusting the min and max values for Y1 and Y2 charts so that the lines I want to appear on the chart are visible within the vertical axis ranges. Some of the main values I use -- in other cells, not in the tables for Y1 and Y2 -- impact the values in the Y1 and Y2 tables and their range of values.

Cheers for any help,

I'm missing something here. If the ranges are set to auto (the default), all of the data points will be on the chart and the Y mins and maxes will adjust automatically. They may not be exactly the ones you want but they will ensure all the data is on the chart. If you manually set any of the mins or maxes, that locks in the ones you set and they will no longer change.

Thanks @Badunit, you're right. I realise that with my Double Y axis chart I had also selected and plotted the X axis values as well which made Y2's values on the chart appear as flat lines or lines without reaching the full scale of Y2 values so instead of having nice curve shaped lines for Y2 you could hardly determine the values as the Y2 line was so shallow.

Removing the X axis plotted line in my graph allowed Y2 values to appear as a full range of values that matched the height and range of the Y axis scale.

The issue which can't be solved and is more a matter of trial and error with the range of values produced, is that the if I leave Y1 and Y2 on Auto I get irregular scaling because my min was -100 and the max was 2000.
