APPLICATIION 'PAGES"

On my MacBook Air, the App "PAGES" DOES NOT RESPOND ANY MORE.

what's wrong ? Thank you for any help.

Pages and Numbers won't open to chosen template or to template chooser. I have a new MacBook Air M3. When I start Pages and Numbers it opens a finder window with documents. I tried changing the selection in the settings to a specific template and it keeps opening the Finder-style window. I've tried selecting "Show Template Chooser", opening it and quitting the app and trying it again and still the same thing. I've booted it in safe mode and still the same. In order to access the templates you have to click new document at the bottom left of the "Finder" window. I had it before and now it's changed. The app is updated to the latest update.

Unable to launch Pages or documents in either normal or safe modes on my MacBook Air Macbook Air M1 2020. Sequoia 15.4.1 I'm unable to launch mac pages app or documents in either normal or safe modes. Have deleted old and downloaded new version. Icon will bounce but then after a minute or so "Pages (not responding)" appears in the finder's "force quit" box. Any thoughts? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

New Pages Update Will not Open I updated my MacBook to the newer software (Sonoma 14.4). At the same time I also went through and updated my apps. I use the "Pages" app a lot for work and today it will no longer open after the newest update from the App Store. I cannot get past this first introduction box - I get the spinning rainbow wheel. I ran a program to ensure my computer is running well (Ram space, Cache space, etc). Only program running or trying to run is the Pages app. Still does not function no more. My computer is not slow and works well. Alternatively I have restarted my MacBook AND reinstalled the Pages app. I continue to then have to "force close" the app as it is "not responding". I wish I wouldn't have updated it now as I cannot get it to open :( Any other suggestions?? Attaching a picture of the black introduction box that will not let me click continue due to spinning wheel.

See if it opens using the shift key. See if it opens in safe mode, then restart normally and retest: Start up your Mac in safe mode – Apple Support (AU) You could also delete the app and download it again from the App Store.
