Will my data get deleted if I don't transfer to a new iPad now?

so she basically pressed that “transfer data” and it currently says “ready for your new ipad, this icloud backup will be deleted in 20 days” and she doesn’t want her stuff deleted, and we don’t have another device to transfer stuff too or whatever she was trying to update to ios 16 or smt (which she did this morning), here’s a photo for reference

we don’t know what to do and if anything is gonna happen but she didn’t know what she was doing and we don’t want to transfer her data because we don’t have anything to transfer it to, what do i do!?

Don’t worry, nothing is going to be deleted if you don’t actually transfer that data to a new iPad.

And anyway iCloud data on an old device is not usually deleted when it’s transferred to a new one.

The iCloud backup mentioned that will delete after 20 days is just a temporary thing used to help people without an iCloud+ subscription or not enough space in their iCloud account to transfer all the data from an old iPhone or iPad to a new one.

Nothing will be deleted from your current iPad.
