Having trouble reconnecting with my Homepod I have first generation HomePod which worked fine until for security reason i changed my wireless network details both the name and Wireless password . Since then, although I have been able ot reconnect every other device , HomePod simply does not want to know. When i press the top, i get "I am having trouble connecting to WiFi". When i use the Home app on my phone and press add accessory i get a screen with a white rectangle that moves around but pointing it at the HomePod does nothing. When i press "more options" all I get is constant buffering. I can't reset HomePod either as it's not in Home to reset . "My Home" just has that and nothing else

Homepod settings menu doesn't include wifi I have been trying to control the wifi network used by my homepod minis, but all the instructions that say to select it from the settings menu seem to be wrong (there is no such menu item!). Is the only way to change the wifi on your phone and then go into settings and allow it to replicate the change on the homepods? Seems a bit odd.

I think there are three possible approaches.

Give the new router the same SSID and password as the old one.
Reset the HomePod and set it up as a new device.
Connect the iPhone to the new router, temporarily reconnect the old router and hope the HomePod picks up the new connection details via iCloud KeyChain, then swap routers again.

I'd go with 1.
