Having Issues - Reset the Connection:

Remove the AirPods, restart the iPhone, and then add it.

In Depth:

I. Remove the Device:

So, on the iPhone itself, remove the devices from the list on your iPhone, resync it all on the iPhone:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: MY DEVICES
  3. Tap: the blue "i" (on the far right of the device)
  4. Tap: Forget this Device
  5. Tap: Forget Device (On very bottom of screen)

II. Restart the iPhone:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: General
  3. Tap: Shutdown (Scroll to the very bottom of the screen)
  4. Slide: Finger to the right
  5. Power On: then iPhone

III. Add the Device Back:

Your iPhone will keep looking for "OTHER DEVICES". Once found, your AirPods will be shown below the last enlisted item.
