Blue Bars on top and bottom of my Apple + Show

Me too - blue bars on the top and bottom of my screen in the Apple TV app

I’m noticing the same issue when I access the app through my Xfinity box but not when I launch the app directly from my smart tv menu.

"If the video quality is bad or it stops playing

3. Tap or click the download button to try downloading the movie or TV show instead.*"

If the issue continues you may need to remove and redownload the app. Get the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app on your smart TV or streaming device
