How to permantly close Safari tabs they keep reappearing after relaunching browser

Go to Safari > Preferences > General tab and ensure that the selection for "Safari opens with:" is NOT set to "All windows from last session"

How to get private tabs back in Safari I have always used the private tabs in safari and it has never cause me a problem, and until yesterday all of my tabs were still there. This morning after a couple of reboots all of my tabs gone. How do I get them back?
