how to re install ultrabeat in logic pro x

Hi all,

For some reason I lost all the presets in Ultrabeat. Does somebody know how to re install them? normally you go to User Default and then at the bottom you see 3 folders to choose from: Drum Kits, Drum Banks and Tutorial Settings but mine has none. I can't even click on recall default because it is grey. see screenshot. Hope someone can help out, much appreciated!

Logic Pro: Drum Machine Designer instruments mysteriously disappear? Hi there! I had several Drum Machine Designer tracks in a project, each of which had been converted to midi regions and was working perfectly fine. When I reopened the project just a few minutes later, almost all of the individual samples within the tracks were missing. The midi notes were still there, and were still triggering the pad interface in Drum Machine Designer, but when I clicked on an individual sound (such as "Snare 4"), the Pad Controls interface below it would be completely empty! (See attached image.) I was able to essentially get the sounds back, by clicking on a different sound in the Drum Library, and then clicking back on the original sound. But I had to do that for each individual sound, on multiple Drummer Midi tracks ... ! And I haven't verified it yet, but I suspect all of the editing I did through the Pad Controls interface is lost. Also weirdly, one sound ("Perc") in this particular drum track, which I had muted anyway, was perfectly fine and appearing normal. That's strange. Has anybody experienced something similar where the individual drum sounds essentially just disconnect themselves from the Drum Machine Designer? And is there an easier fix than manually connecting them all back up? Thank you for your advice!

Guitar Lessons in GarageBand not downloadable Recently, I had to reinstall my iMac. After downloading GarageBand 10.4.11 from the App Store, I also wanted to install the guitar and piano lessons that Apple offers for free. The piano lessons were working fine, but I had issues with some of the guitar lessons, e.g. with the Basics, lessons 2 (Chords - G,C) and 3 (Chords - A,D). The download was stuck at 0 of 0 KByte and I got the following error message: "GarageBand was not able to install the new sounds. Close and re-open GarageBand to download and install them again." Well, I did that but it did not help. I also deleted GarageBand and reinstalled it from the App Store, booted my Mac in safe mode, verified the hard disk etc. Basically, I did all the usual stuff that any Apple support agent would ask you to do - to no avail. Luckily, I have backups of the lessons that I can copy to the GarageBand library folder. Nevertheless, there seems to be something wrong with lesson files on Apple's servers and they should fix it.
