Change, yes. Reset, no.
Install an ssh client in your iPhone, and ssh into the Mac, enable the ssh server on the Mac, and change the password using the command line (via the dscl command).
Or enable screen sharing on the Mac and install a remote desktop app on the iPhone, and use that to access the GUI and log in.
Neither of the above will help here, if you need to reset the Mac password, and not change it. Neither will help if you don’t already know the current password. If you don’t know the Mac login password, here is how to reset a Mac password:
