When printing a contact sheet, can I set it up so that captions are printed beneath the pictures?

Yes, after you select the Contact Sheet layout, click the button "Captions". Then you can select, which information should be printed below the thumbnails.

Regarding labeling photos in 'info' If I have labeled some photos with captions, then later realize I want to add a caption to several pictures - including some of the ones I've already captioned, is there a way to keep the original caption in addition to the new one I’m adding? When I try, it says ‘various captions” so when I add a new caption I lose whatever was captioned previously. Is there a way around this other than going through each photo to find the ones that are already captioned??? (Same thing for titles) Sorry for the convoluted explanation….
