AirPod Max Do NOT work with an audio cable!

I just purchased my AirPod Max and an Audio Cable with Lightning Connector. The Bluetooth connection works, but the wired connection does not work. I tested it with different devices, Windows, Mac, but they still did not work. I am returning my AirPod Max, and I am very disappointed at Apple!

Do not purchase them unless you only plan on connecting on Bluetooth to Apple devices. This is what they are designed for.

Issue with Airpod Pro 2 working with Sony Walkman Hello! Not long ago I upgraded from my Airpod pros to Airpod pro 2. Initially I had no issue connecting to and playing music from my Sony Walkman nw-a50 series MP3 player but after not too long it would connect but I would not hear any sound coming through the airpods except for a fraction of a second and only after I disconnected and reconnected the player. Any idea how to solve this issue? To be clear it connects fine but will not play any music even though the player is playing. The walkman plays fine with normal corded earbuds so it likely has to be something with the bluetooth connection protocol. Any help would be appreciated!!

AirPods Max Wired Connection not working My airpods max will not work using a wired connection. I have a genunie apple lightning to 3.5mm aux cable. The headphones work fine over bluetooth, but will not work with an aux connection on any device.
