iMessage brings up an error when I try to use My apple id for iMessage

what can I do? because without that I cant Sync My iMessage to my mac and iPad. Message appears when i go to Messages>Send and Recive> Use your apple ID for iMessage> Sign In . Then iMessage Activation " An error occurred during activation.

Hey jean-luc1515,

If you haven't already, we recommend following the troubleshooting steps suggested by Apple: If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support

"Make sure that you’re connected to a cellular data or Wi-Fi network.
If you're using an iPhone, you need SMS messaging to activate your phone number with iMessage and FaceTime. Depending on your carrier, you might be charged for this SMS.
Go to Settings > General > Date & Time and make sure that your time zone is set correctly."
