Downloading Cds

Is the CD not showing up at all, or is it not allowing you to import? Here are the most current steps for importing from CD: Import songs from CDs into Music on Mac – Apple Support (UK)

You may need to do this step in your settings:

Choose what happens when you insert a CD

1. In the Music app  on your Mac, choose Music > Settings, then click General.
2. Click the “When a CD is inserted” pop-up menu, then choose an option:

• • Show CD: Music opens the CD but doesn’t play or import it.
  • Play CD: Music begins playing the CD without importing it.
  • Import CD: Music automatically imports the CD.
  • Import CD and Eject: Music imports the CD, then ejects it. This is a good option if you plan to import a lot of CDs.
  • Ask to Import CD: Music opens the CD and asks if you want to import it.
