KEYNOTE's quick reset of its PREVIEW function doesn't allow a chance to really look at the finished slide

It would be helpful if APPLE reprogramed PREVIEW to hold a slide at completion of its BUILD IN or OUT or animated move such as SCALE, MOVE, DISSOLVE, or FLY IN. As it is now, a PREVIEW runs in a second or two or three, then immediately resets to the slide's "pre-animation" appearance. We need a few more seconds to see what we're testing. Or, please allow us to choose when to click to return a PREVIEW to its appearance before we're applied the animation. Thanks, Apple. I've been using KEYNOTE slideshows for my Gettysburg, PA birding photography programs since 2008.
