I’m from Europe and thinking about purchasing an iPhone 14pro max in the US. Need also to sign up for Apple care+ with theft and loss.
Anyone knows if I should contract Apple care in the US or buy it online .. and if itl’ll be valid in Europe ?

Nope. iPhone 14s sold in the U.S. have no physical SIM slots. iPhone 14s sold in China, Macau and (I think) Hong Kong have only physical SIM slots. iPhones sold in other parts of the world have one physical SIM slot and one eSIM.

If you buy a phone in the U.S., it can only be warrantied in the U.S. Should it need service, you would need to return to the U.S. to have it serviced.
Also, it's important to remember than an iPhone 14 Pro Max purchased in the U.S. will have no physical SIM slot.

Wow.. I was informed by an Apple representative that the pro max in the US had also physical sim capability.. I guess you saved the day ..
