Why does my IPad continue to ring?
On my IPhone-settings-calls on other devices is set to Off.
iPad, iPadOS 16
On the iPad, check:
Settings > FaceTime > Calls from iPhone = “off”.
On the iPad, check:
Settings > FaceTime > Calls from iPhone = “off”.
Might you be receiving a FaceTime call? The iPad will rung independently of the iPhone for such calls.
On your iPhone, check:
Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling > Add Wi-Fi Calling For Other Devices.
That setting is correct on the Ipad. Also, facetime bubble is on (green).
Thanks for replying but no, this occurs on all calls regardless of the origin.
Thanks again sberman. Unfortunately on my Iphone 11 Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling does not have a setting for Add Wi-Fi Calling For Other Devices. The switch is only set for on or off. I am still checking all my apps to find the possible culprit.
I suggest checking not only your apps but also your cellular carrier.

Also I assume neither your iPhone or iPad is managed by some institution like an employer or school.
iPad rings when phone rings.
