Calendar Widget, “Up Next” doesn’t show calendar

Hey Apple community!

For whatever reason, when I try and add the large “Up Next” calendar widget, no content is pulled down, and it just shows a default blank widget. I can still click through and it opens my calendar, but that defeats the purpose.

The “List” calendar works fine, but it’s not the one that I really want to use.

When selecting widgets, it does show the content for “Up Next” but, when added, nothing shows.

I’m using:

iPad Pro 12.9 (4th gen)
iOS 16.3.1

I’ve already done all the basic troubleshooting turning it off and on, resetting etc.

Below are two screenshots, the first showing the widget selection and the calendar showing what’s in my calendar, and the second showing my Home Screen with the swinger added with nothing showing. As well as the “List” widget showing that it does work

Anyone have any ideas?

We'd like to know what you did when you did a reset. Was that deleting the widget and adding it back?

It was remove all widgets and re-add. Power cycle the device. I also thought it might be something with me emails/calendar sync through work, so I removed and readded it.

None of that work, but I remembered the network settings reset. I tried that and it seemed to fix the issue!
