Logic Pro X Group Track feature

Hi! I’m starting to juggle between four different DAWs and their different design philosophies are starting to add up. I’d like to normalise them to Pro Tools’ ergonomics.

This time, I'd like to be able to control groups similar as to how Pro Tools does. In Pro Tools, when you select a group, it will automatically selected all track members. Also, if you control click a group in the group list, you will only show the tracks from said group.

Can I do this simply in Logic?

Trying to make all DAWs work the same is a losing battle, my friend. LPX uses Track Stacks. Select a group of tracks, right-click, select Make Track Stack, then decide if you want them in a plain folder, or in a "Summing Group" which allows you to apply automations and filters to the stack itself (effecting everything inside of it). These Track Stacks can be expanded and collapsed. Very handy.
