How do I delete a vpn from iPhone?

i tried the settings-VPN & device management. I could delete it by it still shows on search and also works when I click on that icon

You must delete the VPN app.

You don't write which app you use, but search for it, hold your finger on the app icon. Select Remove App, then Delete App.
