Why can’t I use my Apple TV + on my tv

The following Apple Support articles provide good troubleshooting steps to start with if you are noticing that you cannot watch or stream content as expected with your Apple TV: 

• If you can't watch or stream movies and TV shows in the Apple TV app. 
• If your Apple TV doesn't turn on or shows a black screen. 

It is also suggested to update and restart your Apple TV before trying to access these movies again: 

• Restart Apple TV. 
• Update your Apple TV. 

If there seems to be an account or subscription activation issue, it may be best to contact Apple Support directly for help.

Are you signed in to the Apple TV app, through the in-app Settings (sprockets wheel icon), using the Apple ID account that has the Apple TV+ subscription?
