Alarms
My alarm doesn't ring, but it does go off. I wake up in the morning and it's on the screen. No vibration or noise, and I did make sure to put my ringer on, and I had a loud alarm on. How do I fix this?
iPhone 11, iOS 16

Hey there christopher_o218,
Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities.
Just to confirm, does this issue occur with all alarms, or have you only noticed this issue with alarms that go off in the morning? If you try removing and setting up the alarm, or if you create a test alarm are you able to hear sound as expected?
If you're able to hear the test alarm as expected, but still notice that the alarm is quiet when waking up in the morning, do you by chance have Attention Aware Features enabled in Settings > Face ID & Passcode? If so, this may be expected if your iPhone detects that you may be looking at the device. For more details, check out this link here: Turn Attention Aware features on or off on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support
With Attention Aware features, iPhone can check whether you’re paying attention to your device and automatically take action. For example,
* When you’re looking at your device, your display will not dim until you stop looking at your device.
* If you're looking at your device, it will lower the volume sound of your alerts.
If you don’t want to use these features, open the Settings app, tap Face ID & Passcode, then turn off Attention Aware Features.
If you have Attention Aware Features enabled, try turning this setting off, test the issue once again, and keep us updated with the results.
Cheers!
