Hello - I know the passcode but the phone went into security lockout b/c my screen was cracked and it kept receiving the incorrect numbers. I am getting the screen replaced. Is there a way to get back into the phone without resetting it?
Unfortunately, you can't. Once the phone is locked, the only way back in is to reset it.

Troubleshooting a Locked iPhone:
Hold it Right There!
Being Locked Out...
Enter the passcode incorrectly too many times, and you'd likely be locked out for good. So, hold it right there, and refer to this link: If you Forgot the Passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is Disabled - Apple Support. It would be the one you've always entered. If you do not know it, then look for it in a location you may have stored it in.

I understand you didn't forget the passcode but the same procedure applies.
Thanks - I was afraid of that - we didn't forget the passcode. We entered it into a broken screen one time too many. There are a lot of un-backed notes and recording sadly.
