Live Listen using 3rd party earbuds

I tried record using a Ulanzi J12 Wireless Lavalier Microphone with Lighting Adaptor but I couldn't record via that if I connect my Earbuds Oppo Enco W51. I connect the buds after attaching the Mic only. It keep on picking voices via buds not from the J12.

While you may need to contact Ulanzi Support regarding their mic not working as expected with your iPhone, we'd like to confirm more details to better understand what's happening, along with ruling out some possible causes:

Great job on already testing a different headset, and found that it records your voice without any issues. If there was a time that the same Ulanzi mic worked with your iPhone, when did this start to occur?
Does this same issue occur no matter which app you use, or does it only work with specific apps on your iPhone?
Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
We see you have iOS 16 installed, but the latest version is iPadOS 16.3.1. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
