I am reasonably competent with FCP 10.6 on an up to date iMac. When I import a 2k drone image panning across a forest, for example, in to an established 4K video project white verticals like fence posts and white gum tree trunks flicker. As the drone camera pans across a forest in this example. Rest of the image such as trees and rocks remain ok. Is the problem here differing frame rates or a poor quality drone camera? Would appreciate any comments please.
Thank you Tom for your interest. After flaffing around I have worked out the problem. This issue is simply Proxy. When I switched to optimised all the flickering disappeared. I normally work in proxy so I should have recognised the problem. Kind regards, Mike
