apple events to system settings

Hello dear apple employees,

I've been trying to install an app and it asks me to send an apple event to system settings, I've tried to send one, but it gives me the same error: "Not authorised to send apple events to apple settings, is there any way to fix this issue?

Thanks.

Nox is excactly what you stated, either way i'm not worrying about that, the problem is how i cant send an apple event to system settings, and as you stated, its own settings, and it doesen't make sense to me either.

You need to ask the developer of the app why their app requires it and tell them that it cannot be done on a Mac. And, ask if they are fully compatible with your Mac OS (I am guessing they are not). And, any time you install an emulator which is supposed to make an app work in a way it was not designed to, it is a gamble.

Sorry, but what is "nox" ? And what is the app for or supposed to do?

I am not understanding what you are trying to do? You cannot send an "event" and system preferences is an area where the computer stores its own settings, so this does not make sense.

Addendum:

Are you referring to an Android emulator app player? If so, you best ask their support; I've looked at their website and it does not appear professional. It also appears to be an app for PCs and has some strange install insgtructions for Mac. I have a feeling that it is probably not really compatible with Macs.
