Removing an old email address

Hi I have an old email address created for my elderly mother for communication. That address is no longer needed but it keeps auto populating when I reply from my own address. I can’t seem to find any way of getting rid of it. See screen shot. My address is Simon@ the one I can’t get rid of is Cynthia@ any suggestions?

Hi simongreiner,

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities!

We understand that you'd rather not see suggested email addresses when you're composing an email.

You can disable Siri Suggestions for Mail to remove the email addresses that are suggested when you start typing an email address as outlined here: Siri Suggestions on iPhone - Apple Support

"Turn Siri Suggestions on or off for an app

Siri Suggestions are on by default for your apps. You can turn them off or change the settings at any time.

  1. Go to Settings  > Siri & Search, scroll down, then select an app.
  2. Turn settings on or off."

Take care!
