I lost my iPad with keyboard & had applecare+ on the the device. And when i tried to make the claim Apple told me ipad don’t have theft or loss as an option which would has been very frustrating after spending over 1,000 with the device and accessories i got when purchasing this product.
AppleCare+ for iPad covers accidental damage; it does not provide cover for loss or theft.
In some countries, AppleCare+ for iPhone can provide an extension - for extra cost - that does provide cover for loss or theft. This policy extension is not available for iPad.
You may have cover for loss or theft of personal items included within your Home Insurance policy. You will need to check if your policy provides coverage - and its limits.
