Airpod battery alerts for AirPods I don’t own.

I have never owned AirPods. I own beats. But for the last 2 hours I’ve had a notification telling me that the AirPods are at 15%, EVERY 10 SECONDS! I can’t get it to stop. It’s so annoying. My phones up to date, im not connected to anything right now, but the notifications won’t stop. Please help.

iPhone XR, iOS 16

Hi blaire82,

We'd recommend checking your Bluetooth settings to see if you have any unknown or unused devices there. If there is anyone else in your household who uses AirPods or you have previously shared this iPhone, perhaps it is still paired. This guidance from Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support can help.

Unpair a Bluetooth accessory
To unpair a Bluetooth accessory, go to Settings > Bluetooth, find the device you want to unpair, and tap the More Info button , then Forget this Device. This removes the accessory from the list of available Bluetooth devices.

Take care.

Hi blaire82,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand you're getting a repeated notification about purchasing AirPods. Where does this notification show up? If you're in Safari, close the tab and quit the app. This may be a pop up.

iPhone X and later
1. From the Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle of the screen.
2. Swipe right or left to find the app that you want to close.
3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close the app.

These steps are found in Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support.

Regards.
