Most likely the thief managed to remove your Apple ID from this phone and it will no longer be traceable by using the Find My app.

You are not going to be able to locate your iPhone through the Find My app since your iPhone is no longer logged in with your Apple ID. More than likely, the thief did not hack out your Apple ID password but deleted all contents on the iPhone in an attempt to reset the iPhone’s passcode.
Is it possible that If the thief has your password to your Apple ID then it was probably obtained by sending you a phishing message or an email and got you to enter the Apple ID and Password on a fake website? This allows the thief to capture the Apple ID and Password.
