If you believe the information shown for your product is incorrect, you can submit your proof of purchase online
Your sales receipt is needed for Apple’s Limited Warranty, AppleCare Protection Plan, and AppleCare+ validation, so be sure to keep it in a safe place. Apple’s Limited Warranty is the same whether or not you register.

Warranty starts when it is sold.
Activation has nothing to do with it
If the Warranty date is showing as 1985, it means the seller did not properly register the sale with Apple .

That link does NOT show the activation date, it shows the PURCHASE DATE. It even says “Purchase Date”. From my phone:
iPhone 14 Pro
Purchase Date: September 16, 2022
So you do NOT have an activation date of January 1985. You have an incorrect Purchase Date, which means that the place you purchased it did not report the sale correctly.
The warranty starts the day the iPhone was purchased, not the day it was activated. It’s likely that the seller mis-reported the sale, or it was not sold by an Apple authorized reseller.
the activation date is indicated from the moment when you activated the phone for the first time!!! this can be seen here Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support
I have an activation date of January 1985
That’s what I said. It is NOT the date you activated it for the first time. It is the date the sale was recorded with Apple by the merchant.
no, the support didn't do anything.
I didn 't require any repairs or maintenance , just asked to be changed to the correct activation date !!! support didn 't even want to listen , although this is a technical problem only for Apple . The activation date shows January 1985 ! Unpacked and activated the phone on March 15 , 2023 . The technical department probably did not see this , they would be surprised !!! it turns out that the first iPhone that was born was my Iphone 14 Plus and was released in 1985
buy a new phone, in a week, a month or two months, open the phone and activate it ... and then look at the activation purchase date on the Apple website ... the activation date will be the date of purchase. I had a dozen or three devices in my family and always the date of the first activation will be the date of purchase on the Apple website
If this is how you listen and respond to other users in the forum, I highly doubt Apple support didn’t listen to you. Most likely you argued with them and ignored what they told you was happening and was needed to correct it.
Are you solved this issue?
do not argue, please buy a new phone and activate it in a week or two. then look at the date on the Apple website.
I’ve done that. It shows the date that the purchase was made, and the date my credit card was charged. Not the date that I activated the phone 2 weeks later.
I'm sorry, I doubt you're telling the truth. you're just trying to justify Apple's problems
