domes123,

Let's try heading to the main iCloud page here and sign in with the Apple ID you're using: iCloud

Then open the Calendars app on the website there. Click the gear wheel in the lower-left, and select Preferences. In the Preferences pop-up click on the Advanced tab, and see if the 'Invitations' section is set to receive the notifications as 'In-app notifications' or if they're set to be sent via email, and switch them if needed.

Cheers.

Hi there domes123,

If you are not receiving invitations on the Calendar app of your iPhone, first ensure that the contact that is sending the invitation is following these steps from Send invitations in Calendar on iPhone:

Invite others to an event
You can invite people to an event you’ve scheduled.
1. Tap the event, then tap Edit near the top of the screen.
2. Tap Invitees.
3. Enter the names or email addresses of people you want to invite, or tap the Add button to select Contacts.
4. Note: For you to send a calendar invitation to a contact, they must have an email address. See Add and use contact information on iPhone.
5. When you’re finished, tap Done.
If you don’t want to be notified when someone declines a meeting, go to Settings  > Calendar, then turn off Show Invitee Declines.
Note: With Microsoft Exchange and some other exchange servers, you can invite people to an event even if you’re not the one who scheduled it.

Once the invitation is sent, this article shows how to reply to it: Reply to invitations in Calendar on iPhone

If these are the steps you are following and this continues, let us know if this is happening with multiple accounts in Calendar or only with specific accounts. That will help us narrow down this behavior further.

Cheers!
