Hello yesterday I went to Settings then General then clicked on iPhone storage then went to iMessage because of something someone said on Insta I saw I had to messages from people then I deleted them did know that it would delete them from my phone is it a way to get them back I already checked deleted messages and it’s not there

Upon researching your question, we were able to find an article that lists the options you have for recovering a deleted text: Recover deleted text messages on your iPhone or iPad It's also worth of note that the bottom of the article explains you can only recover text messages deleted within the last 30 to 40 days. If you already deleted any messages prior to updating to iOS 16, those wouldn't be recoverable.
