One morning my iphone is blocking text messages sent to me from Authentication sources that contains PIN codes. What happened and how to unblock this? I received iMessages fine from everyone. My phone also indicates my Software updates are all up to date.

If this is happening with just one number, the steps here can help you unblock that number:
Go to Settings > Messages. Under SMS/MMS, tap Blocked Contacts. Chose Edit at the top right corner, then you can unblock the number. More information can be found here: Block, filter, and report messages on iPhone - Apple Support
If this happens with all verification texts, but you still get other SMS texts, you will need to reach out to your wireless carrier as SMS text messages are a service they provide.
