URGENT! Where can I get Final Cut Pro 7

I have some old but important footage that was edited on FCP 7. I have the drive with the edit files, and when I open the drive on my current computer with FCP X, the files are unreadable, I can't even see a file type. Where can I find FCP 7 to download and edit this content or at least save the current . fcp files as XML's to transfer the sequences to X.

Anyone know where I can find 7, or another way to open these old .fcp project files?

Thanks much!!

It’s not as simple as finding a copy of FCP 7. You may perhaps find a copy on ebay or something.

The application only worked in versions up to 10.12 Sierra, so you also need access to a Mac that can run Sierra or earlier.

Perhaps you can find someone near you, with an old mac and FCP 7, who might let you use for a bit to export the xml. It could be difficult, though.

Thanks, but this would require me being able to save my FCP 7 project files as XML. Right now I don't have FCP 7, I just have the project files, saved as .fcp, which I can't read! So I either need a way to convert these .fcp to XML without FCP 7, or I need to find a way to install FCP 7, which seems like it should be simple, but I can't find anywhere. Any ideas where I can still get it?
