Hello Ladykimkim,

If Family Sharing is dimmed out, this could be related to a few things.

We'd recommend taking the following steps to check device settings:

  1. Make sure the iPhone is up to date for the latest fixes: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
  2. Ensure the Date & Time are correct for your location: Change the date and time on iPhone - Apple Support
  3. Be sure Screen Time isn't blocking you from accessing this: Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support Screen Time may prevent you from making these changes. You may need to disable it to solve the issue.
  4. Go to Settings and check if you have a pending alert or notification from Apple to review the terms and conditions for your account. If you have this pending, it may not allow you to access this part of settings until it has been updated.

In case these steps don't help out, are you the Family Organizer or an adult? As a child can only be transferred to another Family Sharing group: Leave Family Sharing - Apple Support

Hoping to hear how it goes.

Take care.
