Setting up apple mail in outlook

Hi all,

first let me draft my situation.

I have my domain connected to google workspace (years ago, free edition)

I created an e-mail address with my own domain. Set-up DNS etc, works fine.

This specific e-mail address I also use as my AppleId.

Last year switch to iCloud mail with my own domain.

So removed Google DNS entries and added Apple DNS settings.

Still all behaving as expected. Set-up some extra domains, nice no issues.

To have all at least calendars in one app I would like to use outlook app on my iPhone. My business account is already setup in this app and no other app options are available, I have to use the outlook app due to company restrictions.

I tried to add my iCloud account to outlook using an app generated password. Set it up but when adding the account to outlook app it automatically assumes that my account is a google account.

Bypassing this by clicking Not google I can select iCloud to set up my Apple ID etc.

Doing this a pop-up s shown that my e-mail address can not be added as iCloud account because not ending with me.com, iCloud.com etc.

Is there a way to setup my account in the outlook app using my appleid? Bit lost overhere
