Hello. Does anyone know why the now TV app does seem to work with the Apple TV app. If you go into the settings then click on TV, now does appear with apps that are supported by the Apple TV app. But everytime I what any in demand shows on now they don't appear in the up next section. Does anyone know why this might be. Thanks.

Apps do not show on Up Next, but movies and TV shows may, for supported apps.
If you Search a show from Now in the Apple TV app, does it get listed in the search results? Does the show have its own Details page in the Apple TV app, with a [+ Add to Up Next] button? If it doesn’t show the [+ Add to Up Next] button, then it isn’t supported for Up Next. Does the Details page for that show list Now in the How to Watch section, as one of the supported content providers for that show?

The Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Apple TV box is able to link to select supported third party apps. That functionality is not supported on third party system software, like on a smart TV. The presentation of your Up Next queue list will then be filtered for what is available in the Apple TV app on that platform. Could that be it?

It doesn’t list the UK Now app, but the list is also a bit dated (2021-11).
This is the Apple TV app on the Apple TV 4k 2nd generation. Now TV app should show up on up next.
