Can a virus travel from iPhone to PC via iTunes sync?

I’ve accidentally clicked on my fair share of dodgy links on my iPhone before, stuff that could give viruses to a Windows PC, but since I’m on an iPhone nothing has really happened. However, that’s sort of lead me to worry that these viruses are still on my phone and can infect my computer if I sync iTunes on Windows up to my phone so I can transfer music to my phone.

Is that possible?

Anything might be possible, but I think it is VERY unlikely. For the most part, syncing goes from the computer to the iPhone. Only some minor things like ratings, recently played settings, etc. go the other way was well.
