Streaming services on MacBook Pro and Apple TV not syncing

I just recently purchased a 2020 MacBook M1 Pro, after already having an iPad Pro and an iPhone pro. when I use my iPad Pro and my iPhone pro version of Apple TV they are synced with all of my accounts that I use to stream services. but when it comes to my MacBook, the Apple TV app does not sync up with my other devices. also if I try to watch a show that I watch on one of my other devices on my MacBook it requires for me to pay for the show instead of being able to stream it through a service I have already paid for.

The Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Apple TV box, is able to “connect” with select third party apps. That feature is not available on Mac (nor on third party devices). Many content providers that have created apps for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Apple TV box, didn’t make an app for Mac.

What show from what content provider did you have this issue with?

If you want to access this subscription content on Mac, then you have to do so through a browser, using an account with a subscription as started with that content provider directly (no billing through Apple).

Else you can use AirPlay to stream from mobile to the Mac. Set up your Mac to be an AirPlay Receiver - Apple Support

Can you phrase your reply as a question, issue description, comment, or solution suggestion?

Do you also have syncing issues? Between what device and what other device? How does it manifest? Is it regarding Up Next, or some other functionality?

one piece, or anything from Hulu, crunchyroll, or funimation. BMF on stars. or anything on hobo max.
