new to iphone

I'm a long time Android user that recently bought an iphone. Didn't realize that meant I had to deal w/ itunes again, but managed to get a bunch of my mp3s loaded through itunes, then clicked to manually manage my music & hadn't tried to add anything since. Now I can't edit or add new music

I'm unable to manage Music on my iPhone with iTunes I have installed Apply Music, Sync, and the current iTunes from the Microsoft store. I cannot find any way to manually manage the music on my iPhone. The old iTunes made it simple, but neither Music or the current iTunes show me the phone when it is connected. and Sync does not should my music library, only what's on the device. How do you do this now? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Unticked songs still remain on device I have iTunes installed on my PC which is brand new, I have the latest software 18.6.2 on my iphone 14 pro max. I have uploaded my music to the iTunes from my PC but every time I sync it adds all the songs/albums. I've tried uncheck sync all music, Manually manage music and watched numerous clips on the internet and forums but nothing seems to work. Honestly at the point of deleting my whole library and just uploading the songs i want please help me from doing this as theres some 5000+ songs!

Check to make sure you haven't accidentally subscribed to Apple Music, since this would prevent you from syncing: How to cancel Apple Music - Apple Support
