Sound overlapping on WhatsApp status only in iphone
While seeing status it’s playing previous contact status sound in background

It sounds like the sounds in WhatsApp are overlapping. To address this behavior, quit the app and open it again. If the behavior continues, restart iPhone, make sure both iPhone and the app are running the latest software for the most recent fixes to be installed. Lastly, remove the app and add it back from the App Store.
