Are You Still Watching?

I keep my AppleTV set to Never go to sleep so that in the particular room, all I have to do is push the TV on button and CNBC is playing. I have seen that people have asked how to turn off the "Are You Still Watching" and the answer seems to be that it is not the AppleTV, but the particular app such as Netflix. I have gone into settings in CNBC, but there is no option to turn this off. Is there any other way to do this? This is something that did not used to happen and I am wondering if this is something that an Apple Update has caused. I am currently running the AppleTGV 16.4 but it was happening also before I updated. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you

I'm pretty sure the message is app-specific as you suggest. I've only seen it between episodes during a series binge-watching session. Stopping (potentially 1000s of) unwatched HD or 4K streams saves bandwith costs for the stream provider. Cost savings go straight to the bottom line, so... it never occurred to me to look for an option to turn off this 'feature'.

This is relatively new as I have been using various models of the AppleTV for many years. This is the 4K version and I have 5 of them. The TV it is connected to is an ( 11 year old ) Sony, and no software update to the Sony has been done( or may not even be able to be done )

In a different room, I have fallen asleep and when I woke up, I saw where it asked if I am still watching and I clicked yes. But the one I am concerned about it one in a different room where all I want to do is turn on the TV and have CNBC come on. In the past, it always did. Now while the TV is off, but the ATV is set to never sleep, it will come on and be locked on the are you still watching? This then requires getting the ATV remote and getting out of that screen which defeats the purpose of having a 1 button turn on direct to CNBC from the TV remote. Are people aware of this being something new to CNBC that cannot be turned off? Of is this something new with ATV for all stations? I believe I have had this happen on another ATV with HBO, but I will not swear to this.
