I tried asking Siri to read an email, but it would only read the subject. I then asked Siri to “read the content” of the email and it said it can’t do that. Did Apple remove this function? If not, how do I get Siri to read emails *without* using the speak screen function. I don’t want my phone reading everything on the screen all the time. Thanks

Have you tried a "forced" restart of your 13, using these gestures?
Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the side (power) button. Only when the Apple logo appears (it might take 10-20 seconds), release that button (ignore all other screens that might appear, the one with the "slider" to turn the device off included).

If you just updated your iPhone, bear in mind that it is very busy with "housecleaning" (updating apps, redownloading their data, reindex, cleaning cache, etc.). Sometimes a "forced" restart is helpful.

I did the forced restart and Siri still won’t read the email. All it does is read the subject line. Is there a specific command I need to use? I tried “Siri, read the email”, “Siri, read the body of the email” and “Siri, read the content of the email”
I will try the forced restart, but Apple support is useless. They don’t seem to understand what I am asking, and they told me to use the speak screen which is not what I want.
