Mail app with duplicate ghost account

How to delete a duplicate iCloud email that only appears on Mail app and no where else?

It is like she is there conflicting to send out email but I receive emails fine.

When go to settings it's not there to delete but it is listed on server settings outgoing mail account. If click on edit SMTP its not there. It is not anywhere but she is there enough to creating annoyance.

I don't have any issues on my iPhones or iPads only on my iMac.

What to do?

You can add or delete mailboxes to suit your needs.






If no resolve—for problem accounts the fix is delete the account and add it back in

Note—


IMAP accounts stay on the server, so no local loss, when you re-sync


POP accounts download and remove from the server—therefor save your inbox/sent box if you want them


“On My Mac" is just that, local folders you created and moved mail into. So no loss

Show some example of this ghost account... may help in understanding your issue(?)

Didn't work....

I'm so tired now. I've being on this issue since yesterday when I asked about the terms and conditions wasn't working. Which everybody and you was telling to simple sign out and sign back which worked but I was afraid bc every time there is up date or even worst terms and conditions, I know I have to go through some kind of trouble and a lot of time and energy. Now is almost 2pm and nothing in the horizon and I wish to go back time.


I love the old times when Apple Supporters would come in in my computer and fix those things easily and quickly.

I call Apple Support but for some reason the calls don't come through even if I unblock or add the phone number to my contacts. So I have no idea or energy anymore.
