Apple Devices Preview

I've installed the Apple Devices Preview app for Windows 11 and I've had problems. First, it takes a lot of time to load all the information about my iPhone. When it finally charges, at the moment of making a change (like Wifi sync, backup, etc) and sync, it crashes and no changes are done. When I enter again, happens what I have said before.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide!

Backups can take a while, even several hours especially if it's been a while since your last backup. If you've given it some time, I'd try restarting both devices and trying again. Failing that, perhaps try uninstalling/reinstalling Apple Devices Preview/ADP.

Do note that it's an experimental preview app, so some features might not work properly. If you don't need the ADP app for anything specifically I'd just use iTunes instead (note that iTunes won't function unless ADP is uninstalled first).

Also, just for future reference- you've posted to a pretty old thread, so it's unlikely you'll receive a response. I'd suggest just making a new question for your issue as it's more likely you'll get help that way.

Fellow Apple & Windows user:

I am here to help.

I have created a guide with tips to use Apple Devices ( Preview ), and have placed it both on Microsoft and Medium:

If this guide doesn't help you, please feel free to ask for further assistance. It's important to be able to access your Apple Devices on your Windows OS PCs.

Hello Green_Tea_Earl_Grey, I just came across you note regarding you have created a guide for Apple Devices Preview. Is it available somewhere else as both links listed failed.

Devices Preview goes as far as extracting the new IOS but seems to be locked up trying to do a backup on my iphone. I just get a blue line racing across the screen during the backup phase!

Thanks for any assistance you can provide!
