SE Haptics tone?

I assume there was an update or something but my SE has now started making a tone when I press the home button. When I try to adjust this with the Home button adjustment all 3 of my options are now exactly the same. Anyone else having this issue? I have tried turning off sounds, I have tried turning of the home button, I have tried all of the things a normal smart person would do BEFORE I turned to this forum so if your suggestion is to turn off my phone, thanks...

Great job trying a restart already! We'd like to help by learning more about what's happening, along with ruling out some other possible causes:

You mentioned there's a 'tone' when pressing the Home button, but what kind of 'tone' plays when you press it?
When did this start to occur?
If you put your iPhone on Silent instead of Ringer, do you still hear the tone?
Since If you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.4. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
