Hi, thanks so much for your suggestions. Since I'm lazy, I tried a shorter cut, although I'm sure your suggestions would have worked had my own "shorter cut" not. I just went to my Log-In apps under Systems Settings, looked at which apps were set to automatically start-up, and took a guess as to which one or ones were causing the problem. While there were a number of apps at start-up, some were Microsoft, some were downloaded after this issue first occurred, and this left two of them that were unnecessary to keep in start-up. So, I should start with those right? I turned off Zoom and Adobe Reader to initiate at start-up. Then, I tried a couple of ways to test the start up issue that occurred and, "poof" didn't have the issue again. So, don't know if Zoom or Reader was creating the problem with OS Ventura, but it was one of them. If I had to guess, I'd pick Zoom.
