Timer on iphone and watch not syncing together.

My iphone and apple watch are not syncing together. I used to be able to set a timer on my phone and it would go off on both my phone and watch; now it doesn't. How do I get them to sync back up?

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 16

iPhone, Watch app, My Watch tab, Clock.

Turn on "Push alerts from iPhone"
