moving files from windows to Mac mini

will I need 2 monitors ?

If you choose to migrate, as per > Move your data from a Windows PC to a Mac - Apple Support

then yes you will need to monitors for each machine.


If you put your files on an external drive, then connect the monitor and the external drive to the Mac mini. You can then manually move your files from the external drive to the Mac mini.
