Podcast Playback speed in the official Apple App changes at random.

Hello all, for several years the podcast app will randomly change speed while I’m listening to my podcasts. This can happen when I have my AirPods connected, while I have wired headphones connected, while connected to my car stereo, or while simply playing through the built in speakers on the phone. I have seen people say I must have accidentally touched the speed button but I can assure you that’s not the case. Especially when in the car the phone is in a holder away from hands. When listening to it with headphones it’s normally in my pocket and when I listen to it through just the phone speakers it is sitting on the counter. The problem has been there since I got my iPhone 8 new and continued when I updated to an iPhone 13. I did not restore from backup and set it up as a new phone. Is this a known bug that Apple has never addressed?
